On July 18, 2024, the acceleration program “Export Fast and Furious” of the Export School of the Russian Export Center for Enterprises of the Leningrad Region with the participation of students of St. Petersburg State University was completed. The Export Fast and Furious program within the framework of the National Project “International Cooperation and Export” is aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses in expanding and optimizing their export opportunities. The training was conducted for four months on the platform of the Export Support Center in the Leningrad Region using six educational modules covering various stages of the export project. The students helped to analyze potential export markets, adapt products, assess risks and study the foreign business environment. This training is especially important in today’s world, where businesses need to constantly adapt to changing conditions in global markets. The participants of the program showed a high level of training, the ability to work effectively with international databases and help enterprises develop export strategies.
There were 6 study modules :
The introductory module was on April 2-3: fundamentals of project activity. The life cycle of the export afterburner. We were told what the study would be like.
Module 1 April 16-17: Market selection and buyer search. Here we have identified promising markets for the export of our products. We settled on two countries. We learned about promotion channels (through international exhibitions, business missions and online platforms). Tariff and non-tariff barriers have been identified.
Module 2 May 16-17: Export marketing. We have identified the portrait of the buyer. That is, to whom specifically we will sell (the B2B, B2C segment), we identified the company’s competitive advantages, compiled a KP, identified our key positions (own trademark, the possibility of manufacturing concentrates, any container, a wide range, flexibility in pricing, availability of necessary documentation), made a SWOT analysis (strengths/weaknesses, opportunities and threats).
3️ Module 4-5 June: formation of financial conditions for an export transaction. We have compiled an example of filling out a financial transaction. We made a KP.
4️ Module 18-19 June: implementation of the export deal. We have prescribed the essential terms of the contract, the schedule for the execution of this contract.
5️ Module 4-5 July: business cross-cultural communication. Features of communication with different countries. On July 18, the project was defended.
